The TT-3026M/S/D is one of very few mini-C's on the market with a built-in vessel monitoring system, which allows event-based position reporting. Its means it only transmits when it is necessary to do so. But its technology also offers a range of other ideal applications, including such communications as email, free reception of EGC (Enhanced Group Calling) and Inmarsat-C maritime distress signaling.
Small compact unit - easy to install
Thrane & Thrane Sailor mini-C equipment is the world's first mini-C tracking systems and consist of a single, small unit, This contains an Inmarsat-C antenna, a 12-channel GPS receiver and a transceiver. The mini-c is designed for maritime applications, is sealed and fully waterproof, weighing only 1.1 kg and measuring 160mm Ø. It is very easy to install and keeping cabling costs and chance of weak links to a minimum.
This results in a cost efficient, reliable tracking and safety solution of which there three different options.
