Once known as the Nera WorldPro 1000 and 1010 respectively, the Thrane & Thrane 100 and 110 terminals are the ultimate professionals' kit.

Nera created a compact and integrated satellite communications device to provide voice services BGAN broadband data.

It is designed ti operate in the most difficult and challenging environments, giving the user the most advanced and functional system, optimised for ease of use.

These are the smallest and lightest broadband satellite terminals available. They are half the size of an average laptop computer and weigh under a kilo and are built to meet the toughest conditions. Dropping it on concrete is unlikely to break it and it works as well in rainforest humidity as it does in arid desert conditions.

Simultaneous Broadband and Voice
Data rates of up to 384 kbps make best use of bandwidth-hungry applications whilst on the move. At the same time the Explorer 100 and 110 Bgan terminal transmits and receives toll-quality voice calls and connects the Internet as well as providing email and video-conferencing.

The Explorer 100 and 110 work as well indoors as out, offering complete flexibiiity so as to provide comfort and security of working indoors out of inhospitable or risky environments

In order to cater for comfortable and secure indoor usage in risky or inhospitable environments, the Nera WorldPro 1000 can be split into two units. USB, ISDN and Bluetooth interfaces deliver further flexibility for users constantly adapting to new situations.

No Plug - Just Play
The Nera WorldPro 1000's one-patch antenna makes it extremely easy for a user to find the satellite communications signal. Self-explanatory indicators and an on-box MMI ensure that the terminal is straightforward to operate.
