The opening of Telemar’s Sales & Service Centre in Aberdeen is a first of a number planned for the UK.
Telemar describes it as a tool kit of particular experience and expertise. It is about solving problems, sorting and sourcing spares and repairs, giving its customers access to a wider range of services; maintenance and technical support, equipment replacement, installation and commissioning.

These services are now available right in the heart of Europe’s oil capital and are recognition of the resurgent commercial marine and offshore oil and energy operations.

Rickmers appoints Telemar for Broadband Satellite Communication for its fleet of more than 100 vessels

The Telemar Group through its German subsidiary Telemar GmbH is to provide broadband satellite communication for the entire Rickmers fleet. The Rickmers Group, operating a fleet of 102 vessels, is a diversified group with activities in the business fields of ship owning and ship management, liner shipping, investment and real estate as well as maritime related services. Sally is taking charge of Telemar’s growing customer portfolio and its newly extended product range.
As Telemar’s Business Development Manager, Sally will be chiefly responsible for attracting new business as well as maintaining relations with existing customers.
