Sally Cust
Telemar (UK), the Surrey based marine communications and navigation specialists, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Cust
Sally is taking charge of Telemar’s growing customer portfolio and its newly extended product range.
As Telemar’s Business Development Manager, Sally will be chiefly responsible for attracting new business as well as maintaining relations with existing customers.
Sally is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, a post graduate of Cape Town University and was a Royal Navy Lieutenant, specialising in navigation.
After serving at sea in the Royal Navy for 5 years she went on to add to her seafaring experience by skippering Superyachts.
Her arrival at Telemar brings a wealth of experience, both in practical maritime know-how and customer service skills gained as Sales & Marketing Manager for AMI and subsequently as Customer Services Manager with Kelvin Hughes.
This introduction to the marine navigation industry was an excellent opportunity, where, as a Customer Services Manager she project managed the global distribution and installation of the Kelvin Hughes’ VDR product range.
As part of Telemar (UK), a major distributor of Kelvin Hughes, she will continue to market and sell KH’s radar systems. Her responsibility will be for overseeing and developing Telemar (UK)’s existing customer accounts and identifying and developing new business opportunities.
