easyMail - Messenger application for Inmarsat-C and mini-C

easyMail is a Windows based software appllication, which allows text communication via a Thrane & Thrane mini-C transceiver or Inmarsat-C.

 
Inmarsat-C satellite network coverage handles the sending and receiving of messages to any from any Ocean region directly to another Inmarsat-C or mini-C transceiver and to email addresses, SMS, fax or telex.

 
easyMail is able to recieve Enhanced Group Call (EGC), depending on the model Inmarsat-C and mini-C, which comprises FleetNet and SafetyNet. EGC also supports the free reception of Inmarsat-C maritime safety warnings and weather reports. This has proven to be popular with fishing vessels and yachts, as well as commercial vessels, being a simple, cost effective solution.

easyMail works with all Thrane & Thrane non-SOLAS Inmarsat-C and mini-C transceivers, but is not approved for GMDSS systems.

It is easy to use and install; the perfect e-mail program for people at sea.
